FreeThe venerable monks of Sera Jey Monastic University will bring the sacred art of creating Tibetan sand mandalas to the Well Spiritual Center in Mendocino July 18 to 21. This special event is a fundraiser for the Sera Jey Foundation, which supports the education of exiled Tibetan youth in India and promotes global kindness. Additionally there will be silent auction:and a pop-up shop offering handcrafted Tibetan wares throughout the event.
Activities:
Opening Ceremony: July 18 at 10 am
Group Meditation / Morning Chanting: July 19-21 at 10 am
Mandala Creation: July 18-20 from 10:30 am – 5 pm, and July 21 from 10:30 am – 2 pm
Mandala Dissolution: July 21 at 2 pm, followed by a ceremonial sand dispersal at the ocean
