Date & Time:

April 25 @ 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM

The lives of Indigenous People are woven into the fabric of our coastal community. Come to Jug Handle Creek Nature Center, get to know local tribal members, and listen to “Sacred Flame: An Indigenous Fireside Storytelling Series,” a year-long series of indigenous storytelling around the campfire. The monthly series happens on the last Saturday of each month.  Dress in warm clothes and bring a folding chair or blanket to sit on, plus a flashlight. The event will move the event indoors if it is raining. A suggested $5 per person; admission is free for children ten and under.  Refreshments donated by Thanksgiving Coffee, The Good Life Café, Mendocino Tea Company and Harvest Market will be available for purchase.
