Memorial Day weekend the Mendocino Rotary Foundation is hosting the Dedication of their new Peace Pole at Rotary Park in Mendocino. The Peace Pole Project is an international movement centered around the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth,” and the installation will feature four languages that reflect the spirit and diversity of our community: North Pomo, Spanish, English and Japanese.  Each language represents an important part of the region’s cultural fabric and history. Following the dedication  will be a community potluck, please bring something to share.
