The annual Mendocino Spring Poetry Celebration is Sunday, May 17th at the JD Center in Fort Bragg. Admission is free and everyone is invited to experience the poetry, and all poets are invited to read their poems. There’ll be two sessions of poetry. Doors will open at noon for signups and community fellowship, and the first reading will start at 1, and the second session at 6pm. This year is the 51st anniversary of the Celebration and the one time all year when the most poets from the whole county gather together to celebrate their art and community.
