Invasive plant removal at Greenwood State Beach

FreeHelp remove Invasive Plants at Greenwood State Beach and have fun doing it on Friday, March 14th from 10 to noon.
Meet at the Day Use parking area, across from the Elk Store. The morning will focus on Broom along the trails and use the following methods to remove it (cutting it at the base or hand pulling if it’s small enough) Dress in layers and bring gloves with rubber palms, clippers and loppers.
