The Point Arena Independence weekend celebration starts off on Saturday July 6  with a street fain and fireworks Come early and stay late for the Street Fair at Arena Cove. There will be music from (in order of appearance) Bryn & Blue Souls, Buckridge Racket Club, Skunk Funk, Burnt and  Funkasaurus with DJ Smurf as well as crafts and activities, a bouncy house,  and a wide selection of food & drinks.  Then at dark is the  fireworks show by Blackstar Fireworks.  Parking for the street fair and fireworks will be available at City Hall for a $10. Port Road will be closed to through traffic and THE ROCK WALL WILL BE CLOSED. Parking includes shuttle buses running from 3:00pm until 11:00pm!  Bring a jacket and a flashlight, but NO PETS.
