Are you looking to learn about the wonders of our local ecology? The University of California’s California Naturalist class at the UC Hopland Research and Extension Center is now open for registration.  The Program seeks to foster a committed corps of volunteer naturalists and community scientists trained and ready to take an active role in natural resource conservation, education and restoration. The course introduces you to the wonders of local ecology, engages them in the stewardship of California’s natural communities, and the cultural connections with the landscape. The class runs from February 8 to April 19, with 6 Saturday classes This class will fill quickly so you are encouraged to register early to avoid disappointment.
