In recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day, Adventist Health is bringing communities together across Mendocino County for A Day of Remembrance and Hope, a series of gatherings dedicated to remembering those lost to overdose, supporting those impacted by substance use disorder and raising awareness about hope, recovery and available resources. You are to wear purple on the day of their local event as a visible symbol of remembrance, hope and solidarity with those whose lives have been touched by overdose and substance use disorder. At Adventist Health Ukiah Valley 11 a.m. to noon. at the Old Helipad, in front of the hospital. At Adventist in Willits 2– 3 p.m. Back of Roots Cafe And on Thursday, August 27 at Adventist Mendocino Coast 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
