Mendocino County’s law enforcement members invite you to the Blue Envelope roll out event at the Alex Rorabaugh Center July 16. It’s a new way for people with disabilities to communicate with law enforcement during a stop traffic or on the street as a pedestrian. A large blue envelopes to keeps driver’s license, registration and proof of insurance together. The front side blue envelopes state that the individual is autistic or on the autism spectrum, and provides spaces for people to fill out their name, date of birth, whether they’re verbal or non-verbal, and their emergency contact’s name and phone number.
