July 6 is the first Saturday in July and that means it’s time for the 53rd Annual World’s Largest Salmon BBQ in South Noyo Harbor, from 11am to 6 pm .  Avoid the ticket lines and get your tickets now at Eventbrite. Tickets are also be available at Harvest Market in the Boatyard Shopping Center in Fort Bragg, and at the door on the day of the event. All proceeds are used to improve salmon populations on the Northern California coast. The BBQ will include: Grilled Coho salmon, corn on the cob, garlic bread from Fort Bragg Bakery, green salad, Thanksgiving Coffee, soft drinks and Cowlicks Ice Cream. North Coast Brewing beer and Bonterra wine will be for sale (bring your id)   For a fish alternative Lelands Insurance will be serving hot dogs.

MTA will be running free shuttles from two parking lots: At the Mendocino College Coast Center (DelMar Drive at traffic light on Highway One, turn west)    At the  South Entrance of the Noyo Headlands Park (Cypress traffic light on Highway One, turn west) Guests must park on the air strip in the marked spaces facing the ocean.
