100 Women Strong model hosts its fourth event on the Mendocino Coast Wednesday, October 16 at Eagles Hall, Fort Bragg. Snacks and wine will begin at 5:30 p.m. the program starts at 6 p.m. In partnership with the Community Foundation of Mendocino County, the volunteer initiative will award up to $10,000 to a local nonprofit.

A small group of coastal women launched the inaugural 100 Women Strong Mendocino Coast event in 2023.Once again, you’re invites to donate $100, individually or as a group, before the event. Three local nonprofits will present a 5-minute presentation, with a 5-minute question period. Each person who has donated and is in attendance will place their vote, and the winner will be announced. The awarded organization will receive all donations up to $10,000. If the effort raises over $10,000, the remainder will be shared with the other two nonprofits.Nonprofits featured at the event are Circle of Horses., Gloriana Musical Theatre and Pacific Environmental Education Center.
