The Ukiah Library’s Fairy Tale S.T.E.M. Series, invites families to this 3-part series where they’ll use science, technology, engineering, or math principles to make fairy tales come alive. It’s “Jack and the Beanstalk” on Friday, April 24th at 3:30 PM. School-aged children from kindergarten through 5th grade to join in the children’s room for a three-month series of fairy tale-themed S.T.E.M. projects, where we’ll use practical science, technology, engineering and/or math principles to make fairy tales come alive! We’ll start on Friday April 24 with “Jack and the Beanstalk,” followed by the “Three Billy Goats Gruff” on Friday May 29, and ending with the “Three Little Pigs” on Friday June 26. All events will start at 3:30 p.m. and will run for approximately one hour. This program is free and is sponsored in part by the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library and the Mendocino County Library.
