EMERGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE CITY OF POINT ARENA

Point Arena Residents: Point Arena has received over 8.6 inches of rain since early Wednesday morning when the storm began. The City’s wastewater treatment ponds are filling up rapidly and it’s critical to reduce water draining into the ponds. The City requests that all residents and businesses within the City Limits reduce water usage as much as possible. For the time being we ask that showers, toilet flushes, and other water use be significantly reduced or eliminated until the storm is over.
