Longest Night Service
On the Winter Solstice, it has become a tradition among churches to hold a “Longest Night” service to acknowledge grief and loss. . The anticipation of renewed grief as Christmas Eve approaches can be difficult for many to bear. To help the community move through these feelings the Ukiah United Methodist Church will be holding a Longest Night candle lighting service at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21st.
