For several years, Second Chance has held monthly events to help low-income community members care for their dogs. Second Chance offers flea treatment, collars, leashes, coats, food, treats, and toys at no cost, and they are currently looking for volunteers to help out. Second Chance is holding its next event on Friday, October 2, from 10 to 2 in Fort Bragg, and they could use your help.  To volunteer, please call Steve Sapontzis @ (707)964-7770
